UFC 74 Finally Announced

UFC.com has finally announced UFC 74 "Respect".

The feature bouts are of course Randy Couture vs Gabriel Gonzaga and Georges St Pierre vs Josh Koscheck.

No other fights have been "officially" announced.

Couture vs Gonzaga is a very interesting match up. Randy Couture obviously has the experience advantage, but like all of Randy's fights the question is "Is he too small, and or too old?". Never ever count Randy Couture out. Gonzaga has that big high kick win over Mirko Cro Cop, but that was preceded by some brutal ground and pound action. I don't expect that Gonzaga will put Randy on his back as easily as he did Mirko, so it will be a totally different fight.

Josh Koscheck vs Georges St Pierre is also an interesting fight. I doubt that Kos will be able to pot shot GSP the same way he did against Diego Sanchez. Also, I'm guessing that GSP is going to be very fired up for this one after his upset loss to Matt Serra. Look for GSP to strike and Kos to try to take it to the ground.
